Medical oncology

The heart of your cancer care team — coordinating every step of treatment.

Your medical oncologist serves as the primary coordinator of your cancer journey — confirming your diagnosis, building your treatment plan, and working side-by-side with your surgeons and radiation team so every angle of your health is covered. We specialize in the systemic treatment of solid tumors and blood cancers, using therapies matched to the genetic makeup of your specific cancer.

How we help

Chemotherapy

Proven systemic treatment, delivered in our own infusion centers

Targeted therapy

Drugs matched to your cancer’s genetic profile

Immunotherapy

Helping your immune system recognize and fight the cancer

What to expect at your first visit

1
Records review

We gather and review your pathology, imaging, and history before you arrive, so your visit starts with answers, not paperwork.

2
Consultation

Unhurried time with your physician — bring your questions and a family member if you’d like.

3
Your plan

You leave with a clear plan: what happens next, when, where, and who to call with questions.

Common questions

Do I need a referral to be seen?
Many insurance plans require one, but call us either way — our team will help you sort out what your plan needs and get you scheduled quickly.
How soon can I be seen after a diagnosis?
New patient appointments are scheduled promptly. Tell us your situation when you call and urgent consultations are prioritized.
Will my treatment happen at one location?
Whenever possible, yes. With imaging, labs, pharmacy, and infusion under one roof, most care happens in one building close to home.
How do you choose between chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy?
It depends on your cancer type, stage, and often its genetic profile. Your oncologist will walk you through the reasoning behind every recommendation — and the alternatives.
Will I see the same oncologist throughout my treatment?
Yes. You’ll have one oncologist who knows your history and stays with you through treatment — not a rotating cast — supported by the same nurses and team who come to know you.
Can I keep my other doctors — will you coordinate with them?
Yes. We work alongside your primary care physician and any specialists, sharing records and updates so everyone stays on the same page. Cancer care works best as a coordinated team.
Is there support beyond the medical treatment?
Yes — an on-site pharmacy, financial counseling, and help navigating insurance are part of the practice, so the practical and financial weight of treatment doesn’t fall on you alone.
