Clinical trials & research

Clinical trials coming soon to the Treasure Coast — guided by our dedicated research coordinator.

Stuart Oncology is launching an on-site clinical trials program, guided by our dedicated clinical trial research coordinator — which will bring some of tomorrow’s treatments right here, close to home. Trials aren’t a last resort: for many diagnoses they represent the newest standard of care, and asking about them early is one of the smartest questions you can bring to any visit. Once the program opens, our coordinator will review studies against your diagnosis and walk you through every step — and we already coordinate with leading centers such as Cleveland Clinic and Moffitt Cancer Center whenever that benefits your care.

How we help

Trials on-site soon

We’re bringing clinical trials to our own offices — participation will happen here, close to home

Dedicated coordinator

Our clinical trial research coordinator will guide you through eligibility, consent, and every step

One care team

Your trial and your day-to-day cancer care will be managed by the same physicians who know you

What to expect at your first visit

1
Records review

We gather and review your pathology, imaging, and history before you arrive, so your visit starts with answers, not paperwork.

2
Consultation

Unhurried time with your physician — bring your questions and a family member if you’d like.

3
Your plan

You leave with a clear plan: what happens next, when, where, and who to call with questions.

Common questions

Can I join a clinical trial at Stuart Oncology?
Not yet — we’re launching an on-site clinical trials program soon, guided by our dedicated clinical trial research coordinator. Ask at any visit and we’ll tell you what’s coming and whether it may fit your diagnosis.
Am I eligible for a clinical trial?
Eligibility will depend on your diagnosis, stage, prior treatment, and overall health. Ask at any visit — once our program opens, our coordinator will check studies against your situation.
If I’m seen at Moffitt or Cleveland Clinic, do I lose my local team?
No. A trial at another institution is conducted entirely there, but for FDA-approved treatment many patients have a major center help direct the plan while the treatment itself — infusions, labs, follow-up — happens here, close to home.
Will I still see my regular oncologist?
Yes. When our trials program opens, whether you join here or at a partner institution, we coordinate throughout and your day-to-day care stays with us whenever it can.
